From Art Gallery to Auction House: The Story of Our Transformation

By Pavot

It all began as a project dedicated to promoting the arts. We wanted to create a space where artists could freely express their vision, and the public could discover the beauty and diversity of art. This project quickly crystallized into an art gallery committed to supporting both emerging and established artists in the art world.

Over the years, we have participated in international art fairs, and the invitations we received year after year confirmed that our work has a real impact. Each participation was an opportunity to bring our artists closer to collectors, museums, and foundations from around the world.

The Pillars of Our Activity: Continuity and Education

We understood that success is not measured solely by recognition but also by the responsibility to ensure continuity. We support artists in their constant creation and invest in educating the public, offering them a deeper context to understand and appreciate art.

This commitment to education guides all our activities. Through exhibitions, events, and partnerships, we strive to build a bridge between art and those who love it—or don’t yet know they love it.

Transformation into an Auction House: Responding to Collectors' Demand

A key moment in our evolution was our transformation into an auction house. This step wasn’t initially planned, but it came naturally in response to requests from collectors who saw us as a trusted partner for acquiring and selling artworks.

Today, we operate under the guidance of our founder, Alecs Pavot, an art historian with vast experience in evaluating modern and contemporary art. Alecs has discreetly facilitated significant transactions for museums, foundations, and private collections, strengthening our reputation as a top-tier partner in this field.

Looking Towards the Future

We are now at a point where we want to solidify the two pillars that define our activity: continuity and education. Our future plans include organizing innovative thematic auctions, launching educational programs, and developing partnerships to bring art closer to diverse communities.

We want every piece we present—whether purchased or simply admired—to inspire and provoke thought. Ultimately, our mission remains the same: to be a catalyst for art and to contribute to building a more beautiful and connected world through it.

From an art gallery to an auction house, our journey has been one marked by passion, commitment, and the desire to make a difference. We are grateful for the trust placed in us by artists, collectors, and partners, and we eagerly look forward to continuing this story with you.

Sincerely,
The PAVOT Team
