Max W. Arnold
Max W. Arnold (March 25, 1897, Iași, Romania – July 29, 1946, Bucharest, Romania) was a Jewish painter from Romania.
His works encompass a variety of themes, including Oriental landscapes, scenes from Dobrogea, views of the Seine, Hyde Park, Florence, as well as nudes, portraits, still lifes, interiors, and street scenes.
According to his own statements, Max W. Arnold can be associated with postmodernism, favoring the softening of volumes, compositional freedom, and the spontaneity of artistic gesture.
